Terrazza, a collection of seated furniture pieces presented through their materiality.
This project originated from an interest in intureior deisgn and a desire to know more about this practise. Through exploring and researching this field, a collection of artists and pieces started forming. Later these lists were updated to fit the network and colletion of Galerie Paradis. Galarie Paradis is a furniture store with a warehouse full of beautiful pieces.
Terrazza is a collection of 7 books that explore the Fabric, Metal, Wood, Aluminum, Velvet, Leather, and Plastic chairs, stools, benches, and sofa’s. To help you direct yourself through these books, designers, and pieces Terazza has a website, this website serves as a index, a overview, and a search engine.
Together these two elememts create a project that will help you start learning about furniture design or it can be a piece to a ever-growing network of information.

To promote and tease the release of this product a series of animations, instagram reels or tiktoks were created. They are meant to evoke interest by teasing some of the furniture pieces included. One key element of these animations was the auditory experience they provided. This was meant to ellude to the importance of materials and that this a key element of this project!
